The Pali Cannon, written in Sri Lanka involving 600 BC and 100 BC, states that sexual relations, no matter if of homosexual or of heterosexual nature, is forbidden in the monastic code, and states that any acts of sentimental homosexual intercourse (like masturbation and interfumeral sexual intercou
